This is how much I know about apps. I overheard at the library the other day about a new (I say new because I’ve never heard of such a wonderful thing) iPhone app especially for students. This app is used for referencing books that students have cited for their assignments or essays. If you’ve been a student you know how tedious it is to write all your references. With this app, all you do is scan the ISBN barcode of the book with your phone and voila your referencing is done for you! For someone who doesn’t have an iPhone, I was blown away with this so I did more research. Below are three bibliographic apps I found, which I think are pretty cool:
- Easy APA Referencing by Apple – can also get the Harvard and MLA versions for the same price ($1.99)
- Scanner for Zotero ($1.92)
- EasyBib (free)
So if I was a student and I had an iPhone today, I reckon one of these is an apps’solute must!
