Reading Project 2015 – The Buried Giant #5

Saxons, Britons, lost memories, King Arthur (now long dead), knights, ogres, Warriors, monks (monks! I love Gregorian chants but no chanting in this story – just a handful of evil hooded ones), and a she-dragon called Querig. Wow! What else could I ask for in this story? Thank you Kazuo Ishiguro (author of The Remains of the Day, which I’ve still yet to read and see), The Buried Giant has been a delightful and adventurous read. Oh and if you’re getting old like me and your eyes aren’t as good as they used to be – the large print edition is heaven sent!
