Library Visit 2021 – Bridgewater Library

I came across this library by accident. Bridgewater is a rural township on the Calder Highway 35 km north-west of Bendigo. After we camped at the Bridgewater Recreation Reserve we came to town to get some drinking water for the caravan. The drinking tap was next to the memorial hall which also housed the public library. It was Sunday and it was closed so I wasn’t able to come in and visit. So there isn’t much to say about it. It’s interesting to note that the sign in front of the building says “Memorial Hall and Free Library”. So I guess once upon a time, libraries used to charge money to have members.
